Club Anime Artist of Lakeland's blog was created for the purpose of having a meeting place for artist of like minds to share ideas and learn new artistic techniques for improving their personal works. The 5 week sessions are administered and taught by Anwar Wilkerson a professional teacher and freelance professional illustrator with a BFA in Illustration from Ringling School of Art and Design located in Sarasota Florida. Having a love for the Japanese styles and designs of creating character, he has practiced and self taught himself to come up with a comprehensive way to not only teach anime styles and designs, but also produce illustrations based on principles of the style and designs on a professional level. He considers himself an American Anime Fantasy Illustrator and primarily works in this style to produce art for both children and adults.
