Here is a fun way to create a Christmas design using only cut paper.

isosceles triangle

Practice the shape Triangle.  The type of shape used in this design is called a n Isosceles Triangle.  This type of triage has two congruent sides. A Equilateral Triangle where all sides are congruent can also be used.

Use symmetry - (two halves look the same.) To cut the sides of the tree.  You can cut stuff in the middle as well.

I used more color paper to cut the tree, but you can also use marker, crayons, glitter, and other objects to make the tree designs dazzle.
